# EL

EL is the governance token for the broader ELYSIA ecosystem, aligning authority and incentives across the network.

Through the ELUSD protocol, a portion of realized profits is distributed to sELUSD holders as yield.\
From the remaining profits, after expenses, a portion is allocated to enhance EL token value.

This value accrual may be executed via buyback-and-burn and staking rewards for EL, which will be announced and verifiable on the official Elysia website in due course.
